We are excited to confirm that our Head of Service, Wayne Bexton, takes on a new role within Nottingham City Council as the Director of Carbon Reduction, Energy and Sustainability from the end of March.
The establishment of a new division to encompass energy, carbon neutral work, waste strategy, district heating, utilities, the Midlands Energy Hub plus more, ensures the sustainability agenda is embedded at the centre of the organisation and has been recognised as part of an authority wide senior leadership review.
As one of the leading local authorities on this agenda in the UK, we are committed to supporting both the private and public sector in achieving their own carbon neutral aspirations.
